Student Assistance

Ms. Melissa Thetford is the Student Assistance Professional assigned to Crescent School as an employee of Olympic Educational Service District 114. Her campus hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30AM – 4:00PM. Before and after school hours can be arranged if needed. Ms. Melissa meets with students individually and in small groups throughout the school day. In addition, Ms. Melissa will be providing the evidence-based Life Skills prevention education curriculum to middle and high school students.

Ms. Melissa is available to parents as well. If you are worried about your student and would like to speak to Ms. Melissa, please call her at (360) 928-3311 extension 1033 and leave your full name and the best phone number to contact you directly. All communication will be confidential. Ms. Melissa will respond to the voicemail during work hours, and cannot respond immediately to messages received outside of these hours. [1] Funding for the program is through the Federal Substance Abuse and Treatment Block grant and Crescent School District. This project is collaboration with Department of Behavioral Health, Washington Department of Health and the Olympic Educational Service District (OESD). Ms. Thetford is hired by the OESD.
