Crescent School District families and staff,

We want to make you aware that the Joyce Fire Department will be conducting a training exercise at Joyce Bible Church tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, between approximately 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Joyce Bible Church is a close neighbor to our campus, and during this time you may notice emergency vehicles in the area as part of the planned training. The exercise will take place inside the church building located near the track. There will be emergency vehicles in the parking lot boarding the school track.

This is only a training drill for local emergency responders, and there is no emergency situation. Some participants may be portraying injured individuals as part of the exercise, and emergency personnel may be seen providing simulated medical care outside the building.

School operations will continue as normal, and there is no anticipated impact to students or the school day.

We appreciate the efforts of our local emergency responders as they conduct training that helps ensure our community is prepared to respond to emergencies.
